My first unofficial race led to me possibly having a racing year. It was on August 16, 2007 that I was offered to race someone who I had never met before but heard of, who was a 250cc racer who had been racing for eight years. I, on the other hand had only been riding since I was nine or ten, took the offer. But there was a catch; we had to ride off-road 125cc bikes, on a sand-dirt track that hadn’t been watered that day it wasn’t packed in. Once we both got geared up, we got on the bikes and the gate dropped. We both had to race six laps, and then cross the black and white checkered finish line for the last time. Throughout the entire race I was right behind him, literally. But once it came to the second to the last turn, I had enough speed left to make it past him, but then, all of a sudden he did too. But now I was closer than ever, I was right next to him. And then came the finish line and it was all over. Both of us had no clue who had won.
