"There is a very easy way to prevent anyone from being put into harm's way, and that is for Saddam Hussein to disarm, and I have absolutely no belief that he will. I have to say that this is something I have followed for more than a decade.
For now nearly 20 years, the principal reason why women and children in Iraq have suffered, is because of Saddam's leadership.
The very difficult question for all of us, is how does one bring about the disarmament of someone with such a proven track record of a commitment, if not an obsession, with weapons of mass destruction.

March 7, 2003, speaking to a room full of Code Pink members, Clinton tried a different approach to justify her pro-war vote. "There is a very easy way to prevent anyone from being put into harm's way, that is for Saddam Hussein to disarm. And I have absolutely no belief that he will. I have to say that this is something I've followed for more than a decade. If he were serious about disarming, he would have been much more forthcoming. ... I ended up voting for the resolution after carefully reviewing the information, intelligence that I had available, talking with people whose opinions I trusted, trying to discount the political or other factors that I didn't believe should be in any way part of this decision."
Oh what a difference a few years and a new political agenda make, if you’re a leading Democrat Presidential wannabe in ‘07. If you think this is just another Hillary-bashing , think again. As you will see, this could be written about any one of the dozen Democrats seeking the highest office in the land!

Women, children, teens, monks and men are all suffering in Myanmar. I don't see the U.S invading that country for their benefit. It's obvious that this argument wasn't the real issue at work when the U.S invaded Iraq. And, Saddam was completely disarmed long before GWB took office. That's been well documented.
It doesn't matter who said it. Both parties have done this country a great disservice. But we all know who is the most responsible for the wrong choice of invading Iraq and lying about it: George W. Bush.

"is this someone we want as President"? I think that was the thought that ran through everyone's head when they were trying to decide between Bush and Gore last election. I hope everyone actually give McCain a vote of confidence this time. In my opinion, he's the most honest politician around these days. And I know.....honest and politician don't really go together......it's like an oxymoron.....but it's true

Hard to tell, but it sounds like something a globalist would say, to continue to promote globalism as Bush has. Sounds like someone who was a Republican in college, so my guess would be Hillary. Must be the reason the owner of FOX is helping out her campaign.

Well.... uh.... that was before Bush was in office. Saddam is really a nice guy when a Republican is in office and he always tells the truth. I am sure he turned over that new leaf right about then.....
Edit... Ashley... what should we use to enforce UN Resolutions? A very sturdy 18th Resolution threatening a "time out"?

All of the Democrats have said something to this effect! Except for the little weasel! Dennis Kucinich just remembered his name.

Matters not what you say it does. To be President and the 1st woman to do so she will be.....
Cry in your beer you may......... stamp your feet and pout you can....... change nothing will it do.
President McCain cannot be........ not born in the U.S. was he. Central America does not count....... a violation of the Constitution would his election be. Too bad........ so sad it is...
