Again I am forced to suggest you spell check before posting.
As a person that has tried to rationalise this I am left torn between what I would like and what I believe.
I would like to believe when we die we move on to a higher existence. However in reality I believe when we die that is it. Our body is recycled by the earth but apart from that nothing.
Pretty bleak, and it makes it obvious why people dreamt up the whole life after death scenario in order to stop from fearing death and therefore not doing what was required for them and others to survive.

You are never born and you are never going to die.
You are not the body you are not the mind you are the Atman the soul or the Spirit which is not a matter which is not a compound which is simple which is never born and never going to die.
Try to find out the truth right now at this stage not after death of this body.
Then alone will all the fear dissappears.
You are immortal what is there to fear about.
You are every where where you can go.
You are infinite where you can move.
Stop all this non sense of Birth and death heaven and hell.
GOD or Bramhan or the Soul is the only ever lasting reality and you are that reality.
You alone exists in this infinite there is no other for you. what is there to fear about.
How can you scare of someother things which doesnt exists apart from you.
You are the birth you are the death
You are the love you are the hatred.
You are the friend you are the enemy.
You are the worshipper and you are the worshipped.
You are the limited and you are the unlimited.
Then you goal is attained my friend he who feels this knowledge is the son of the GOD and noneelse.
And every one has to get it other wise there is no Freedom.
Don't become a fanatic in this process.
Believe in yourself not in some others preachings of Heaven or Hell.
Say I have no fear cause I am the infinte.
People started killing others socially and psychologically and now also spiritually by not giving them the real knowledge.
Grab only which makes sense from religions and not just lullaby stories.
cause tose stories have their use for kids in spirituality but not for you who has some thinking to do.
Dont kill the curosity of learing the truth.
Every religion has the same problem they say you will go to heaven and be happy for ever there.
Just try to imagine once is there anything new in heaven.
Everything which is good here multiplied by thousand times is what is their heaven.
Never believe in religious fanatics.
Reject every doctrine which preaches you that you are a sinner.
How dare those fools have to call the children of GOD a sinner.
What the right they have to control an individual.
People are just playing with our life in the name of soceity, nationality and religion.
If you oppose them they will persecute us.
So fear not araise awake and stop not till the Goal is reached.
The thought of heaven or Hell has its own importance in less matured individual but they should not apply the same to every one.
I pray earnestly to the GOD that you will be provided with the highest knowledge.
Remember Jesus was never wrong but the people who preach christianity do mistakes, Mohammed was never wrong but the people who preach Islam do mistakes, Buddha was never wrong but the people who teach buddhism do mistakes.
So its your turn to pick best out of the religion never blame religion or a preacher blame yourself for not understanding the meaning and not able to pickup what is essential for you.

I believe in God and even though i always skip reading my bible i know that God promises that those who believe in Him will have everlasting life. I always try to do good. I tried not to offend or hurt others deliberately as some has done to me. I'm a happier person knowing that when I die, i will go to a place with God and where I could see all my love ones who has passed on especially my beloved mum to tell her how sorry I was for not being there for her and that i love her and miss her every minute. Also I would love to see our beloved dogs.....Seriously, I believe there is heaven and hell and I trust that there is life after death only in another place,

Assume there is and live your life accordingly. You will be happier. Since there is no proof either way, you might as well accept that there is and then you have chances to fix mistakes. If there is a choice, pick the choice that makes you feel better.

Definitely, there is life after death. If you believe in God, He can give you eternal life through his one and only son Jesus Christ. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Read the Holy Bible. It's full of God's promises despite the sinfulness of men.

Even Einstein believed in an afterlife. Because energy is never destroyed it just weakens. Therefore Our energy within us will leave the body in weaken but still exist.

Have faith that there is as personally, the alternative is unthinkable. We can't live our lives constantly worrying about this! Be happy, take care of yourself, be kind to others. Why worry about tomorrow? I believe in the holy scriptures and the bible but I know that I lack faith many times. Pray about this.

I believe so. Wouldn't you [to sound cliche] rather go on with your life believing there was an afterlife and finding out there wasn't, than living your life believing there wasn't when there was.

we had a beginning but we don't not have an ending.
the inner core of 'who' we are is indestructible, as we are made in the image of God according to Genesis.
