I get deja vu for premonitions, lets me know I am on the right track or if something wrong is going to happen. Don't be afraid of it, just let it happen and as you go on having it you will understand what yours is for. Get a journal and start logging in when you have it, what happened etc. Then you can figure out what yours is for. Good Luck.

I have no idea, but if I had to guess I would say it is connected to your sub conscience. I think that we dream MANY things that we don't remember, and we experience something in real life that brings the memories of those dreams back to our conscience. Thus De'ja Vu ! Makes sense to me!

I think I would attribute it to a sub-conscious memory triggered by a particular set of circumstances that closely resemble the current moment you are in at the time.
Or maybe not.
