That occurs when you have pressed shift and ctrl and the same time while trying to press "?". To fix be sure to push down both shift and ctrl at the same time and release at the same time.

It is the keyboard language settings. Open control panel. Upper right corner, do a search for Keyboard Language. Click on language. Add a language & find the one you want, for instance: english, United States. It may already be enabled. Now go back and permanently remove any others that were being used. By having 2 or more enabled, when you hit certain keys it will jump to the other language keyboard. This will stop it jumping over.

My computer was doing that to, and i think it is because it changes the language setting or something like that. But what i do is at the bottom of my screen is a little keyboard icon thingy click on that. And it has the language set as Canadian Multilingual Standard or something so i usually just select the one that says US. It doesn't go back to normal forever, it usually switches back once you close the internet i think, but you just need to remember to continually change it back. Hope i helped!!!!

I am facing the same problem, but not for all text editors - works well for windows apps - notepad, IE etc.
But the keyboard layout changes for mozilla firefox.
there is no " @ " key.. I have to type in notepad, and then paste it onto a firefox textfield..

Does anyone know solution to this problem?? - This ? appears when I press shift & 6 in forefox! weird..

You have probably changed your keyboard settings. Pressing certain keys simultaneously could change it.
