I know its an extremely general description, but i have no clue what it could be. It came on at work one day and i asked my boss, she said The Eagles but i havent been able to find any song like the one im looking for. This prob wont help but it goes a lil sumthin like this (dan dan dada dadaran...lol)

Like the others have said sounds like either Turn The Page-Bob Seger or Baker Street-Gerry Raferty

It's called "Baker Street" by a guy named Gerry Raferty. I think this is the correct spelling.
