Can anybody argue with me that the Colts are the only undefeated team to play anybody decent?

the thing about the Colts is they almost always win by a little bit no matter who they play.

I heard Madden Say, that the top 3 teams have surpass every body else in the league by a bunch, making a big gap between the top 3 teams.

It's easy to have an easy schedule when your team is playing awesome

The colts are an outstanding team, but I think Dallas and New England have a much more explosive team, and would easily route the same teams that the Colts have played. The colts have looked awesome though.

The Colts!? Are you serious, the best team they played has been the New Orleans Saints and well look at them. The Titans arent very good, but they will be in the future. The Broncos are pretty bad, got lucky breaks in two games. The Texans, well i think the 2-0 start was a fluke. Packers had a good defense in front of them today and Favre still did his thing. Im going to say the Packers. They also played the Chargers, which happens to be the most talented team in football, just arent clicking with the new coach.

Take out their own results against their opponents and look at the records so far:

Dallas: 3-9 (NYG 2-1, Mia 0-3, Chi 1-2, StL 0-3)
Green Bay: 5-7 (Philly 1-2, NYG 2-1, SD 1-2, Minn 1-2)
Indianapolis: 6-4 (NO 0-2, Tenn 2-0, Hou 2-1, Den 2-1)
New England: 4-8 (including Cincinnati) (NYJ 1-2, SD 1-2, Buf 1-2, Cin 1-2)

I'd go with the Colts.

According to the Massey Ratings - one of the more respected ratings in the business - the Green Bay Packers have had the toughest schedule. This is as of last week.

Green Bay: 6th
Indy: 10th
Dallas: 14th
New England: 17th

It is too early to be arguing about schedule, though, and every division game is tough, no matter what.

the colts havent had it too easy, but then again neither have the packers. given the fact that they are the youngest team in football except at the most important positions (qb,cb) and they've held the mvp in check and made the eagles look like a high school football team I'd have to say that they're for real too. Certainly more legit than that shakey Dallas D.

Yep. How about the NE. Yah I know they have played the Jets, Chargers, Bills and tomorrow the Bengals. But when they played the Jets and the Chargers they were thought to be the elite of the AFC. The Colts have played the Titans, the only good team they have played. I would have said the Texans but they lost to Atlanta. So their is my argument. Take it or leave it.

It would be hard to make comparisons on the toughness of schedule, how do you determine who the tough teams are, when we are in a state right now where the good teams of last year are getting beaten up by the bad teams of last year

Hmmm.. well, the Texans did not look so decent today, The Saints look like the Aints again, The Titans..too early to tell on them and finally Denver, they have escaped a couple of games and got beat the other 2.

What is supposed to be impressive about that?

I'll go ahead and give you that. I'm a Cowboy fan, but grant it, you did have to play both Tennessee and Houston on the road. But remember what counts is not how a team begins, but how it finishes.
