Deal with rude customer's by empathizing, and refrain from making statements regarding what you *can't* do, and replace them instead with what you *CAN* do.
As far as weaknesses go, don't list too many faults, but give them something minor that MIGHT affect the job. Avoid saying "I'm too much of a perfectionist," because that's cliche. Be honest. If you're shy, say it sometimes takes you a while to warm up to people, so I may seem a little quiet around my co-workers. If you're talkative, say that you tend to be a little talkative, which might become a distraction at times, but you recognize it's a problem and try to avoid doing that.
Possible strengths: Good self-starter, ability to multi-task, able to work alone or in a team, friendly, outgoing, works well under pressure, etc. Look at job ads and find qualities in yourself that match what similar employers are looking for.
"Tell me about yourself": Tell them what you do for fun (preferably something productive like building model airplanes or sports, as opposed to video games and Yahoo! Answers). Tell them what interests you have, such as reading, physics, wildlife conservation, etc.
"Why did you choose Kroger": Tell them you're interested in an entry-level position, and based on your experiences as a customer, you perceive Kroger's employees as people who are happy with their jobs, and what's better than gaining experience at a job that makes you happy?
"Do you think you will do well at this job": I'm fairly certain that I have a good grasp on my limitations, and have decided to pursue this position because I believe it to be a good fit for me.
They might also ask if you have any questions for them, which is when you might take the opportunity to ask about what hours are available and what benefits are offered.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure what other questions they might ask. You seemed to cover the toughest questions.
