What do you mean "still"? Don't you mean "now" and yes, they as of right now are clearly the superior team. I wouldn't start any parades anytime soon though, the 49ers offense was jaw droppingly bad. Sure, Alex Smith is no Montana but in hearing that game on Sunday I must have heard Joe Starkey say "Almost intercepted" a dozen times, and twice he said "intercepted". Dilfer was terrible. You can write that down as an excuse but that's why they lost. The score was only 13-0 at the half, and 6 minutes prior to the half the 9ers offense had NEGATIVE yardage. 1/3 of their 87 first half yards came from the meaningless run Robinson had on the last play. Do you not realize how bad that is? And then, the defense that played phenomenally looks like crap because they were on the field the whole game.
So the Seahawks beat a team that didn't have their qb.
Then they beat a team that gave 56 points to the Browns.
And yes, they beat another team without their starting qb.
So now that makes them ranked #5 by FOX and SF gets #27. Let's see how long that lasts. Luckily the NFL season is longer than 4 weeks. That Monday night game they'll have in November will be a lot closer than you think, I can assure you of that.

I didn't learn a thing. I had predicted this outcome days ago.
The Seahawks were clearly the better team on both sides of the ball today.
On offense the Seahawks used so many different people and plays that SF just couldn't handle it.
On defense, they had SF off balance all day with all the forced fumbles, interceptions and sacks.
OK, sure, the 49ers lost their starting QB, but he has yet to prove himself anyway. And they got caught on numerous penalties at key moments and that may lend to why people say the 49ers beat themselves but still...

i love how when the seahawks lose it was because of the superiority of the other team and the seahawks just arent as good and blah blah blah. but when the seahawks beat the crap out of other teams its always, well the team beat themselfs. no the seahawks caused the fumbles, the seahawks ran and threw the ball, and the seahawks defence stuffed the run and shutdown the passing. 49ers werent as good as they where the last two games but still its a seahawks win and they should get the respect for it not just "well the niners beat themselfs"
seahawks are for real people you should have gotten use to it the last couple years but no one will admit it.

Honestly, yes. I'm a 49ers fan, and I thought the Niners were ready to challenge for the division this year. It doesn't look like it. Theres still a lot of football left to play, but the 49ers need to rebound FAST. Hopefully Alex Smith isn't out for too long, because Dilfer did terrible. Hey, at least you respect me for my honesty right? lol Cheers!

Seattle is becoming more of a dominant team in their division, but with today's game between the Seahawks & the 49ers, it wasn't only Seattle that beat them, it was the 49ers that beat themselves in the worst way today.

Seahawks are a premier team in the NFC, and are my pick for the NFC Champions.
Imagine when Alexander gets back to 100%.
