I was trying to come up with some baby names for girl. I had two possibilities for comming up with it.

one was comming up with a combination of either
leona or sophia (my gm names)
and
Janet or Ann (mom)

If i cant come up with something from using both my gm and my moms name I have two other names I like they arent too common, I want to use my moms name in there for sure and I want it to trace back to my heritage, german welsh so here is what I have, what do you think?

Arial Ann
Evony Ann

Hm, looking at Leona and Sophia i thought maybe:
Seona. Could pronounce it sho-nah, see-oh-nah or shaw-na.

You could also maybe take the "T" from the end of Janet and try:
Teona, pronounced tee-oh-nah or taw-nah.

Using Sophia and Janet you could try: Jophia or Jophie

And with Janet and Leona you could do Lane.

For Janet and Ann, maybe:
Janna, (yarn-uh)
Jannelle
Jannis

Arial and Evony Ann both sound nice, i'd probably go for Evony Ann because you won't have the constant "Ariel the little mermaid" references, and also so the initials aren't "A.A". Using alliteration in names just makes me shudder.

Hope that helps! :)

I like Arial, but it sounds very mathematical.
I'd spell it Ariel, or Arielle
Evony is very pretty=)

As for other ideas:

Sophie Anna
Janna Lee
LeeAnne
Phiona
Lana
Sophia Jane
Leona Ann
Leona Jane

We gave our daughter two middle names after our grandmas. It can be a mouthful but I love it.
I like Sophia Ann if you just want one of each grm/mom

I really like Sophia. perhaps if you are after something a bit different you could go with Sophia-Ann Janet.
