i keep seeing questions from children, why? this is suppose to be for married/divorced adults. who lets their kids read this stuff? can you block them?

i just think that nonadults should stick to the family link for support. i mean i have answered and asked questions that relate to cheating, keeping your marriage alive, abuse, divorce and the stress that goes along with marriage in general. As a mother i don't think it's in anyway appropriate for 11-16yr. olds to answer or even read these questions.

the kids are on this site because their parents are out of sight .... and there you have it. and well some parents let their kids do whatever.

Hear you and some of your answers are a case in point.
Sometimes I want to stick a pencil through my eye until I carve out the part of my brain that makes me want to care. But then I reconsider. My kids and such just get off of the net. No cell, text and all of that. I did not have to beat them into submission as I just said no once upon a time. I am very lucky. My kids get it and will be sucessfull.
But if you wish to contain things as a parent if needed. Not me but I know. Take away any cell phones that are on your plan. Replace them with pay as you go phones and the chats get shorter. Move the main computer to the kitchen or something where you can see it. Or just shut down the network at a certain time...... no need to have it up after 9:00 or so. Period.

I have answered several questions posted by children. Children are always caught in the middle of a nasty divorce; their parents are too busy fighting with each other to notice how their actions are affecting their children in an adverse way. A child needs help in these situations, and by acting as responsible adults ourselves on Yahoo Answers, we can be "lights" in their otherwise dark world.

im 15 i dont know and quite frankly dont care if you think im an adult or not but, maybe its good for an adult to hear an answer from child of divorced parents.
and maybe those kids dont know what to do or are trying to find out why their parents are leaving each other and maybe the kids just dont know were else to go.
and on a final note this is a "Marriage and Divorce" advice column not a "Marriage and Divorce For Adults Only" column

LMAO i agree with the original question, and i think everyone should click on kody bish to see her question about lip piercings. oh man what a joke, kids these days. i miss being 12. wait no i dont, that was 12 years ago haha. oh btw cursing doesnt make you seem big and adult, your still 12. stay in school.

kids are on this site because they have parents who don't monitor their activities as they should =(... these parents should get in trouble for child endangerment... this can all affect their mind and mental state =(... I want to add... bmx and Kody up there do have valid points... but, still, their parents should be monitoring them... as well... our kids are not allowed on the computer unless it's school work, and the computers are in the living room, not their bedroom...

apparently the parents dont' care these kids are on here. its unreal. its very sad because they can read stuff on here which shouldn't be happening. but then again they could fix it but its an opened site i belive
