I've never had any complaints on this site. I have reported a couple offenses in other forums, clearly outlined by YA, where there was an advertisement having nothing to do with the forum, one was a dirty filthy post that had nothing to do with the question at all, and one was a completely innapropriate racist diatribe again with no relevance to the question or answer session. This stands out as having the most tolerant, wise, easy going group of all. I'm so sorry to find there's troubles here.
I've always enjoyed all the posts from all of you both questions and answers. If I feel strongly about a question asked, I will post. When I post, I speak my mind pretty much and you are genuinely getting the real deal.
I was approached through email by somebody recently who wanted to "be my fan" but closer inspection of the profile and I soon discovered multiple identities. What a stupid thing to do on a profile! Like how on earth can you possibly see anything to trust in a person who has like 6 different names and is part of a community of others doing the same thing. I obviously deleted the request.
Anyway, folks, I enjoy all of you. I'm a fan of all of you. You have such color and diversity, a well spring of knwledge and history and humor and wisdom and justme that includes you. God how boring if we were all of the same mind and opinion and thought and experience. I never look for agreement, I look for thoughtful response and diversity and respect. I learn from all the differences and enjoy them.
I may have strong feelings about certain things from time to time, geez don't we all, but I sure hope I haven't hurt anybody's feelings in the way I've expressed them.

No, you don't have to make us a promise, just be yourself. I don't think you need to change. Decorum is fine in moderate doses, but we don't want to become stanchy.
I think we have an out in this contract, if you change your mind. That 1st sentence says, 'not withstanding anything to the contrary'. We're being contrary about it and won't let you change. lol

Always be yourself because that is one of the reasons that makes the seniors site so much fun .Everyone here is an individual ,good or bad,old or young . Aussies have a unique kind of humour and speaking for myself but I 'm sure others will agree I look forward to what you have to say! Now tear up that statement .

Does that mean I have to too?
SLK has gone to bed but I'll stand in for her on this.
I think you are making a bad move but it's your choice.
What decorum are you talking about anyway?
Most of us have either bent the rules or smashed them all to h#*l at one time or another anyway.
Get a grip & rethink it all. Tomorrow will bring you back to your senses.

If your promise means that there will be no more postings like this, then HECK NO, I don't accept it!
Be yourself. It is much better than being sanitized.
Edit: I see my little clone is visiting. Her skin tone has been darkened to match mine, I notice. The background isn't quite right though. Whoever it is who is in charge of her, needs to make a few revisions.

Naw, just be yourself, promises are too much like other
debts that you just keep having to pay. Then wonder
why you incurred them in the first place.

What tha? If you behave yourself then everyone will have to behave and we'll all be too serious. You've always been fun in my book. You've always been a benefit in a good way to the site.
