Well, I was drawing a line graph for human population growth and they gave some evaluation q's, so what does this one mean?

"Social activists for zero population growth, advisable only reproduction for replacement for the current population, can you give a rational for their position"

What does that mean, and what does it have to do with the bar graph?

Most likely, your graph is a very steep line, indicating fast population growth. If the activists are advising that people reproduce only for replacement of the current population, they mean that every time one person passes away, you would then want to have a new baby to replace that one person. The population would then stay constant at its current amount, rather than growing rapidly.

are you sure it says "advisable" or advise? Otherwise it isnt gramatically correct, and the question doenst make any sense. If it does say "advise"...

The question refers to a group of people who do not want the population to grow. So therefore, a child is only allowed to be born when a person dies - so the population remains the same. The question is asking you - why would these people want the population to stay exactly the same, and not grow? I would look for things in the question relating to level of food, land space, pollution, etc that is sustainable at a certain population.

what social activist are trying to say that the "S" word should be used only to replace the lost population to deaths, what you have to do is prove they are right or wrong.

They want you to give a reason as to why, "One death, one birth" would be in the best interest of our existance here on earth. the graph would be unnesesary because it would neither go up nor down.

theoretical concept:

birth rate = death rate

population will be held at a fix point.

look for a flattening out of the graph.
