The current Packers + Running Game = Super Bowl win. Favre has a couple of good years left. Win a Super Bowl or two and then worry about the next QB. Minnesota needs a franchise QB. They already have Chester Taylor at RB. The trade would be good for both huh?

Drago - the Packers have the worst RB's in the NFL. Haven't you been watching? They aren't even averaging 2 yards per carry.

These trade questions are driving me crazy. First of all trades in the NFL are very rare. And if a player is traded it's for draft pick or picks. This isn't fantasy football. I mean Rodgers for Peterson? Come on now. Who would you rather have? Peterson at rb or Taylor at rb? Especially knowing that McNabb's days in Philly will be over at the end of the season. The Vikes can trade with the Eagles for McNabb. If other teams in the NFL thought tha Rodgers was a franchsie qb. Wouldn't you think that someone would have him starting now? There are teams that are in desperate need of a franchise qb. And why would the Packers want to trade such a good franchsie player for? And last the Packers run an offense that dosn't use the rb that much. They have quick receivers. And that's how the west coast offense is ran.

Why would the Vikes want to trade Peterson for a journeyman (at best) QB? I'm sure the Packers would love the deal.

Yeah right. Like the Vikings would even consider that trade. Sure, it would be great for the Packers to have Peterson, but the Vikings aren't gonna hand their best pick in years to a division foe.

not a good trade for the Vikings, it wont happen. The packers have plenty of Running Backs to get the job done. Not one superstar but a few decent guys. Rogers is unproven, why would they give up a stud running back for an unproven player. This does not make any sense.
