Night before is at my Mothers house with my siblings their children/grandchildren and my boys of course, my mothers ex husband attends (my sisters dad) and it is an all inclusive family affair.

Christmas Day Starts early my honey can not stand to sleep long after Santa visits. We are opening presents at 4am. A big breakfast follows, I put the duck in the oven. Then we all fall asleep all over the house, sofa, living room floor what ever. Get up between 11am and Noon. My ex husband comes over with his mother and we have a HUGE feast about 2pm. He leaves with the children around 3:30 - 4:30. Me and my honey usually see my sister or my mother and early to bed. Before my g-ma died we all met over their for the evening meal.

Everyone gets along, all disputes are put to the side for the day, and lots of love and food are shared! It is hard somtimes with exs' but my mother has been an excilent example. My ex appreciates the Christmas he spends with the boys more now that when we were married. They love having him at the special times. Being in there life is one of the most important things he can do as a father, anything I can do to insure my children have happy "family" memories I will do.

We do this at Easter Too!

During Christmas, we make our house lively. With the Christmas lights that make our house colorful, Christmas tree that stood still in the living room, and presents under it, so we can truly feel that Christ is coming in our home.

I am an atheist, and my lovers are too. Christmas is just another day to us. If I visit reltives at that time, I have gifts for kids. At my home, we ignore it. My #1 gal Miyuki is from Japan, and she knows only what I told her about Christmas. i joked her room mate kumiko once. We saw many decorations in windows of stores at Union Square, e.g. Saks 5th Avenue, Macy's, Neiman-Marcus, etc. I explained to them briefly about Christianity and Christmas. Shinto is the native religion of japan, and buddhism came there through China from India. There are some Christians in Japan, but Miyuki and Kumiko do not know any. Kumiko said we should put some Christmas decorations in their flat. I told her when we arrived there to take all of her clothes off and bend over in the window and I would insert a candle into her rectum. Kumiko thought that was funny and said she would do that to Miyuki.

Me and my whole family from Ireland celebrate with a big dinner and we celebrate Christmas for it's true meaning. It's not all about the gifts. After a big dinner we exchange one gift. After exchanging gifts my whole family breaks out the Irish whiskey and we play some Christmas tunes with the Irish bag pipe and other instruments.

Its really great. Outside we have white fairy lights all around our door and garage. Inside in our front room which is blue and cream we have a silvery-white tree with pale pink, blue and silver baubles, in there we hang these sweet paper chains with sonowmen on and also we hang these wooden stars from the ceiling.
In our hall we have red berry ornaments and a little christmas family seen, we also have red and gold candles and these funky rag doll santas, snowmen and fairies. In our back room, which is red we have the real tree decorated in gold, red and green and all our other baubley things. In there we have a small gold spiral thing and red fairy lights. In my room i have alll sorts of pink christmas things.

phew!lol.
im so excited.
