"through exctasy, crystel meth and glue
i found no drug that compares to you
all these pills, all this weed
i dunno just what i need"

haha.... so what's your favorite Tom Petty song?

I have on video my dad and I singing/playing Breakdown. He's playing the guitar and I'm "playing" his guitar case (I'm 4 or 5 years old). So, for sentimental reasons it would be that one....

It's hard to choose a favorite! Right now, I really like Down South, Have Love Will Travel, The Apartment Song...I guess an all time favorite would be You Don't Know How It Feels.

Tom is in my top 5.

Tom Petty kicks ***. They should play the song breakdown during the closing credits of the movie breakdown.
I like "Don't Come Around Here No More" and "I Won't Back Down." If those are even the titles.

I just got into Tom Petty since the classic rock station in L.A. plays his songs a lot. Only Led Zeppelin tops them in times played in a day I think.

I only know four songs, but I think my favorite song is "Breakdown" or "American Girl".

It depends on whether he's imitating neil young ,roger mcguinn or whomever ...haha.

Last Dance with Mary Jane( pot?) has the Neil riff and some simple lyrics that fit real tight with the groove.
