there's a whole lot of labels at school : preps, jocks, emos, goths, punks, nerds, geeks, dorks, etc.
then, nationalities : yanks, brits, mexicans (usually ignorats refer to them as the whole hispanic nation, which drives me crazy), chinese (usually refered as the whole asian nation too), and blacks.
then, also, religion : christians, jews, catholics, atheists, buddhists, etc.

but, in ALL this, there's a whole chain going on of hate (like a hates b, b hates c, c hates a...), what's the deal with that?!

I am so tired of it because it's everywhere! I can't say I don't do it, because that's the type of country I was born in (argentina), we think we're the best...

BUT DO YOU THINK THIS WILL EVER CHANGE?

Racism has decreased drastically in the past few hundred years. However of course it still has quite a way to go, but nonetheless I can see that becoming an irrelevant issue.
Religion, on the other hand, is going to inherently cause problems. When you have several religions with each one claiming they are right they will inevitably feel compelled to force their beliefs on others or at least be prejudice. Countless wars have been started simply over "faith".

So to answer it, things WILL change. However with faith being around there will inevitably be prejudices.
Racism may finally come to an end with enough cultures mixing together.

There is so much hate being put on the media and I think that is where the fire is being lit.
But guess what?
You are the kind of person that can change all that.
Get a group together that believes what you believe and show the others that they don't have to hate.
The world don't need any more hate.
They probably don't want to hate each other either, it is just a power thing going on and it keeps going on till someone stops it and forces everyone to get along.
I am surprised your school lets them get by with it.
Talk to the leaders of the school and see if you can get them to change things.

OK, I am 56, a retired elem teacher born in 1950 and I think I know what you mean. It appears to me these days that big business, large corporations and so many entities are trying to suck a penny off you in every way that people are very very defensive. It hasn't always been like this, it used to be mom and pop stores liked you and wanted what is good for you, but I think the Walmart attitude has taken over and greed has threatened everyone. Things are RADICALLY differnent than in my fist 20 years of life and I hate it too, I feel very sorry for the young people because they didn't get those good years of nice-ness amongst people that I got.

Some people aren't aware of the implications of what they say from a distance. Maybe it's a kind of entertainment born out of boredom and meanness, but not with a real serious intent, even though the meanings are quite disrespectful.
In this world, it seems you have to look past the garbage and live your life by making yourself useful to society and staying positive with your own thoughts.

It will never change until the whole world realizes that the only truly important thing in life is love. Material things like food and shelter are important too but, these are things that are necessary for the perpetuation of the single most important thing LOVE.

If you desire the change, then BE the change. Lead by example and others will follow. Our generation luckily is just now observing how corrupt and wicked things are in this world and will not stand to tollerate it. Just don't be what you hate. Don't focus onwhat you hate. If you want to be treated with justice and the others around you too then inspire that change.
Good luck

Hate will never change I actually think it might get more servere then it is. People hate because they have nothing better to do with there lives. They also hate to cover up what they hate about thereselves and take it out on everyone around them.

I really like the first answer and hope you pick it for best. We have completely lost our sense of community. They feed us "Reality" television where competition at the expense of the group is the norm and the goal. We must begin to have a new definition of what "love one another" means. How can we begin to reward one another for helping create community?

i think youre talking about racism..i think that it's an internal / socio-cultural habit of person/persons living in a country wherein they think that thaey are the superior one's but it should not be the case bhecause we are all born as people here on earth..the only difference is that where not of the same race,culture..etc..but think that we are all created equal in GOD's eyes it will not matter to you from what country or race that person is..

If you really want it to change, then the best place to start is with yourself. Nobody will listen and do as you say until YOU do as you say. Then people will follow you.
