Lets see. it depends on what theory you believe. If you agree that time is part of the fabric of the cosmos (that is to say that the cosmos is not just space, but space-time), if you believe that space-time is warped (most physicists argue that space-time is saddle-shaped), and if you believe that wormholes exist, then theoretically it would be possible.
A wormhole could connect two distinct areas in the space-time continuum. Since space and time are indivisible, traveling from one point in the space-time continuum to another point would take you from one point in time to another.
However, so far nobody has proven the shape of space-time or the existence of wormholes.

How old are you?
Im 48, have believed for more than 15 years, that its more thn possible,..but a CERTAINTY!
I also think that there's a good chance it has been invented (im serious!). The Philadelphia experiement readings i have done indicate the gov accidentally stumbled on it, then (as they do) covered it up (hire 2x's, 4x's people to swear it never happeneded, to contast any witnesses that sya it did, same old).
Present experiements also appearently have been sucessfu in bring back matter frm the future, w. 3 laser beams.
Why aren't we changing cataclismic events thathave happened?: the sec that created time travel, may be so secret the cia, etc.. aren't privi to this breakthru.
Plus, the possiblity that past timelines are infinite.
Plus the idea that u could make the present worse/unsatble/or a 'wild card', by changing major events, plus the idea there are sooo many catastophies, u couldn't change.
More & more, things thought of as 'mposssoble' are NOT!
Scientific theories, & rules about 'limitations are being blown to hell, the mre we progress into the future.

Tough answer. In fact, some of the superstring theories 'kinda look' as if........ -maybe-......... it 'might' be possible.
But the reality of it is that the energy levels involved would take the entire output of the average supernova. Not really too practical from an engineering standpoint âº

I think time travel is possible. We just don't know enough of how to do it yet.
