If you think you're mature, you're not. Its like the guy who goes around telling everyone he's not conceited. No matter how old I get, I hope my mind is always young. Being immature is important too!

Well I am.. but at my age I'd rather not be sometimes.......but hey that is what keeps us young right?
.... Well all that aside... Maturity does come with aging.. It means simply taking responsibility for your actions. So actually that can come at any age... Hopefully sooner than later..
But it does not mean to stop having fun, that can go on forever!! I know lol

People think i look mature for my age but when people get to know me, they realize i don't act mature. I'm 16.

at times I am very mature, age and life has a way to inhibit your immaturity even though in my heart I am only 10 still waiting for someone to take care of me.

well i'm like 19... but i hang around with 20-29 year olds .. most all of them are males... who i am more mature than... but the males i go around with in that age catagory tend to act like they are 5-8 yrs old... then again i can be a spaz and act like a child as well as any of em... so i'm really not that sure... haha

well I'm 21 and ppl tell me I don't act like most ppl my age. ppl say that ppl in my age group are loud, rude, perverted and self absorbed....and they tell me I'm not like that and i act mature for my age. Personally I don't think I do. I think I'm still a big kid...legally I'm an adult and can buy myself a drink but I'm still a kid in my own eyes.

I'm 66--I should be. Actually, even as a child I grew up in
a house of adults and had to grow up fast. I don't think
I was ever a child. But then now that I think of it--I think
I'm in my first childhood--having a lot more fun now. : }
I'm a child at heart and hope I always will be.

I thought I was when I was 10. Actually when I was 10, I acted like I was 40. Now I'm in my senior years and my husband who is 11 years my junior keeps telling me to "Grow Up." LOL. So you tell me. :-))
Edit: You are so lucky Dreamer. But be careful on that skateboard. My hairdresser who is going on 80 fell off her skateboard while coming to work and broke her elbow. :-((
