Last that I knew of, Ray Stevens is still very much alive...

I also watched Ray Stevens w/ my grandparents. "It's Me Again Margaret"- hilarious. I actually bought a three disc "greatest" set on a lark. My daughter had to take a "story song" for school. She said everyone was doing just a few of the same songs, so we went through my album collection and she decided on Steven's "Mississippi Squirrel Revival".

From "Ahab the Arab, the Shiek of the Burning Sand", to "King of the Road" and beyond.
When Ray Stevens died I really felt the loss. How many singer/writers had a career in comedy as well as music.
