i want to create a flash website. this'll be the first website i've owned/created and i'm wondering what i need to know before i buy a domain. any help appreciated!

1. Buy domain from namecheap
2. Buy web hosting from websites like http://aplis.net/
3. Design few flash pages
4. Upload it to your webhost.

You don't have to know the content to buy a domain name. There are people who buy the name and then think up a purpose for the site. The guy who bought BEER.COM made millions when he sold it and had not put much effort into developing its content.
Just think up a catchy name relevant to your website's purpose and buy that one.

You simply need to make sure your host allows Flash Based Sites(Most Do)
