I just sold an item on ebay to someone from Belgium, i expected him to pay through paypal, but he doesn't have one so he said he can deposit the money directly to my bank account. So do you think it's safe to give him my bank account number? and what kind of information i should/shouldn't give to him beside the acct number? and is there any fee for receiving money from a different country?

If you do Not mind him cleaning your account out .

Imagine the fun when you see balance = 00.00 !

NEVER give the thieves your account number ,
Don't you read the eBay warnings ?
They explicitly say , They CANNOT recover your $$$ after you get cleaned out .
You give them your number , YOU are totally responsible for them emptying your account .

Tell him to set up on paypal or you'll find a real buyer .

no no no no no
do NOT give him your bank account number, or any information other than your mailing address so he can send a check. If you give him your account number, the money will dissapear from the account, and since he is in another country, you will never get it back. It is a scam. Tell him if he doesn't pay via an approved method, whatever you said you accepted on your listing, you will report him as a non-paying bidder to eBay.
