you were in preschool, and always knew that boys had cooties. boys were yucky because they werent the same gender as you. when you were 5, if you liked a boy the same way as a girl, youd have a crush on them, and call them your boyfriend. why is this? we were taught this way. adam and eve, were boy and girl and loved eachother. not two boys loving eachother. the bible taught us to love the opposite gender. some of us have learned that, but just because a boy is the only gender you can reproduce doesn't mean you cant love women. dont get me wrong, im the straightest person youll know. or am i? i believe all human beings were born bi but chose to be straight except for a small percentage of people who ignored the society. society and stereotyping is why all people are straight. so go ahead, find your one and only, and ignore otherss around you. because you are just a simple person and you dont need to listen to them.
Thank you.

Oh my i beleive this exact same thing and i try to tell people that but they just look at me like im crazy. I tell my parents that i bet the reason they are is straight is because they were taught to be. Wow we should talk sometime. I think everyone is born like a blank slate with out a sexual prefrence because you know nothing about that then as you grow older it changes and everyone starts to become bi or what some people would call bi-curious then as they get a little older like 7 8 9 10 or so they learn what straight is maybe not the term but they get the picture and they think thats how they are "suposed to be" see im gay and its funny because i never really beleived all of the things i learned in church and i think that played a big part on it wether kids beleived what they were taught or not.
You are a smart cookie.
EDIT:ok and for those of you who arent getting it we arent saying you are Bi now we are saying you grew to be straight but were bi in the beinging you were taught by society that being straight is right.

have to agree with you here for the most part. i think that sexuality lies on a spectrum of sorts though, and that while it is impossible for a person to be totally on one end of the spectrum, some do naturally lean more toward one end than the other. but you are right; 'straight' being the norm is very heavily pushed by society and thus children are brought up to think this way rather than going with their natural instincts to simply find a person to love regardless of gender. the story of adam and eve includes a male and a female because the story is intended to tell the tale of the first humans, and you cannot produce more humans through lineage without both genders being present.

I am absolutly positive as a woman that I am not bi,I have no attraction to women. I have many women friends that I think alot of as friends and that is that. Perhaps you are bi though?
I disagree that you are tought to be straight, because no matter what a person is taught,it is in their heart what they decide to be. For instance noone is taught to be a crimminal,it is a decision they make. Also because the majority of people have been straight from the begining of time, who tought them that straight was the right way to be?Even animals mate with the oposite sex, perhaps they have better morals than some humans? Just a thought.

I think all people are able to see the attractiveness in the same gender, but it doesn't mean they are sexually attracted to them. I went through a phrase when I thought I was Bi because I was always looking at women and always wanted to be around the beautiful women. It wasn't because I love women sexually, it was because I wanted to look just like them. I still look at women, but I'm looking at the features on them that I want for myself. When I think about having an actual relationship with another women it just doesn't work. I love men! I want to be with men, there is something about a man that a women could never give me. So in that sense I do think people can be attracted to both sexes, but only want to sleep with one.

I'm open-minded, first of all.
I'm a guy and I'm straight/bi-curious.
First of all, you're only 13 so you shouldn't like decide or completely come out, if you know what I mean...
btw, even if you become bi later on, you shouldn't be ashamed of yourself or anything like that...
if people bring God or the Bible and other religious stuff like that you can just go ahead and say, well, God created both men and women because they're both attractive. lol

I totally agree. I think that heterosexuality and homosexuality are just social constructs our society places on us. My opinion is based on the behavior of the nearest genetic primate to us, the Bonobo. I consider myself Gay but it is primarily a rebellion to the society that demonizes my attraction to other men and the behavior of women in our society.

I don't think so, I've aways (at least as far as I can remember, prior to kindergarten) like girls differently than boys. We tried to raise our girls as neutrally as possible with out gender stereotyping, but is definitely a "girly" girl and the other is more goth girl, but they both like boys.
I'd say bi is still a genetic result - at least mostly.

not really, real attraction doesn't react until people going through puberty. it is by then your body finally reacts to people you like. so u cant use puppy love or childhood crush as a argument fact. people are not born bi.
