I don't think the word grasshopper is a verb but hop is and it's in the word grasshopper. I think that you should look it up in the dictionary or in Google.

"Grasshopper" is a noun. A grasshopper is common insect with long legs that jumps around and sometimes chirps. Google for images of a grasshopper, if you want to know exactly what it is.
