To start off a sentence

i have two sentences

the first of how thrilling it is for a girl whom is blind learns how to understand words

and i have to contrast it by the fact that learning how to understand words makes her remember something she did bad for not knowing before

i have this

Keller becomes thrilled as the veil of unawareness is lifted from her, letting her see a world which “[quivers] with life.” Through her breakthrough, she remembers what she had done with the doll and for the first time “felt repentance and sorrow.”

i want to replace through her breakthrough with something else
