Patriots, they have been very convincing to everyone. Even though I dislike the Patriots, I have to say they are the best team in the league.

The Colts have a solid offense, even more so than the Pats, but their defense is capable of being broken down. Against the Broncos today, The Colts run defense got steamrolled early in the game. Had a better team, like the Patriots, been playing like the Broncos that early, the Colts would've been finished.

Right now there are only two teams worthy of even being considered "best" and they are the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots. They are both in a league of their own with a slew of teams once thought great now being depressing (esp. Chargers & Bears).

The Colts and the Patriots strengths stem from their great receivers, great quarterbacks, great coaching staff, and great offense/defense (yes, the Colts now have a good defense!). They have so many weapons to choose from and they play every game to near perfection and this is because of their charismatic quarterbacks, Tom Brady for the Patriots and Peyton Manning for the Colts. They're such an inspiration to both the team and the fans who love them.

The Dallas Cowboys are definitely strong, but they have a few loose screws that will cost them a Superbowl. In this week's game against St. Louis, Dallas couldn't even snap the ball correctly and Romo had to chase after it. Thankfully for him he turned it into a gain.

The Greenbay Packers are also looking promising (currently 4-0); however, I wouldn't consider them a threat to the Colts or the Patriots.

If someone was pulling at my arm, I would have to say the Colts, but the Patriots are VERY close. This week's game saw the Colts running game improve significantly, so I suspect as the season progresses the Colts will get even better.

Pats, Colts and Cowboys are the only ones you can mention right now...playing well and undefeated...Pittsburgh fell out of the conversation today...

Overall I'd say the Pats have looked the best but it's too early to say any team out there is clearly the best...

Colts. They have an unstoppable offense and a decent defense. Plus, they've won the last few games against New England. The Cowboys are pretty good but I'm still not too sure about them, considering that they pretty much have the exact same offense that was destroyed by the SAINTS DEFENSE last year.

New England Patriots...They have the best offense and arguably the best defense in the NFL...and Tom Brady and Randy Moss...

I'd say right now it's very close between Indy and N.E. They play eachother Nov. 4th, so I say the winner of that will be the best until playoff time. Though a lot can change before then.
