how do i put music into a motorazr v3xx cell phone?

i just got it.. and i tried everything to put in music in the phone... i tired to plug in the usb cord to the computer and then to the phone.. but that did nothing.. so PLEASE tell me what to do..


P.S. i don't have an extra memory card in my phone... but i don't htink that should make a difference

The extra memory card will help you hold more music, but you can get at least a couple of songs on there.

First, you'll have to get the software from Motorola (or a 3rd-party vendor, who sells it cheaper). This is the only way that your computer will know what your phone is. Sorry you'll have to wait a few days. I ordered a CD with the software. It came about 3 days later and installed pretty well.

This will also allow you to store your phone's contacts list on your computer, just in case you lose your phone. You can also download ringtones and games. And of course, you will be able to load music onto the phone.

A word of warning, though. The RAZR is not designed to hold a lot of music. And you may want to get the memory card or spend the money on a separate, better equipped MP3 player. After all, you don't want to run your battery down listening to tunes when you are waiting for a call from your friends.

Have you installed Motorola Phone Tools or MobiMB. Merely connecting through USB will not serve the purpose. You need a software also and WinXP SP2.

You have to have an SD card to add music to your phone. The only other way to do it is to buy it off of your cell phone provider's web site.

The user profile and password are strictly for downloads. You need to download "P2K" . It will allow you to put music, ringtones, pictures and games onto your phone.
There are other downloads and mods available just read the forums on the site.
