Yeah, sorry about that. We are quite irresponsible when it comes to removing dictators from power when they not only threaten their own people, but the rest of the world as well. The reason 2 million people want of Iraq is that their own countrymen want to kill them. We haven't quite figured out how to fix that.
there's no way we'll nuke Tijuana since there's a good chance some of the fall-out will spread back over us, so why don't all you guys come over here, just in case?
As far as helping other nations, well, you're also right about that. But what can we do? Send them money? Have a free trade agreement so jobs in the US could be shipped over there to provide support to their economy since their own governments won't do it? That would be absurd! We'd have to send over millions of dollars and thousands of jobs! While it might be benevolent, it would be disastrous for our own country!
What, this just in, we did that! It's not working!

Yes, we are so irresponsible!
We are only responsible for freeing the entire planet from the evils of the Axis Powers of WWII.
And then, we helped create democracies out of the dictatorships of our defeated enemies.
And then, we spent billions of dollars to help rebuild the countries of our allies and our enemies.
What does Germany, Italy, and Japan look like today?
