maybe the other guys just didnt research enough, or bought from bad sites or something but i bought one twice and its great
you just have to look at what you want to do with the thing
of course, this barebone only had case, power supply, motherboard, CPU, fan, and some memory
if you do some research and buy from good companies, i see no problem with them
also, look at the cost of buying each part individually
it may turn out to be less

Sure. I spent several times the cost of the system for various upgrades, both hardware and software. The best thing to do is decide what the main function of the computer will be, then find one that has excellent software included to do that job.
Bare bones is NOT the way to go.

Yes, and it was really just a collection of cheap parts. Had nothing but heck with it, and ended up costing way too much in the long run. A waste.
