My life is successful. I am not rich monetarily, but life is good for me. I have retired from the military after 27 years, and went right back to work full time. I don't need to, but want to. My investments have been good and would support me without working. I am free, I enjoy my favorite things like golf when I desire, going to LSU, Tulane, and Saints football games. I have my grand-kids when I want and If I get tired of them I call their parents to bring them home. Sometimes they can wear me out. I have women in my life that keep me in line, taken care of, and satisfied. A successful life is one where you are truly happy, and I am.

A successful life means that you have achieved the be-all and end-all of your goals and dreams. You like what you are doing and is contented with the results.

to love and be loved. to learn and share knowledge. to explore the spirit. To try to be healthy. To earn enough to have a quality of life and a nice place to live. To explore the world nearby and far.
To have interesting hobbies.
To be part of a social group.
To contribute to your community.

Being the best that I can be and being able to take care of myself when I am old so that I won't have to go into a nursing home.
