Do you think flash memory will become the hardrives of tomorrow?

This is up in the air. As information gets larger, it needs a faster way of getting this info. While flash drives are popular and are not prone to data loss as much as a HDD, I believe that the solid state hard drive is not going away any time soon. The transfer rate of the SATA II drives are really fast, much faster then a flash drive will ever be, probably.

Yes but not by flash memory as it has a finite limit on how many times you can write on it and most importantly I think something better than flash might enter the market by the time it gets replaced.

THERE IS NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT
just look at ipods - only classic now has hard drive and everybody says this is the last ipod with hard drive - flash is the future as soon as they manage to put enough gbs on them

yes solid state hd's will definately for gaming machines anyway because they have much faster data transfer rates than others....

maybe not on servers though

Better yet I think most computers will strongly resemble Zonbu's, and storage will be on offsite servers. (see www.zonbu.com)
