we have an african fattail gecko, he eats live crickets, we keep his container around 80 degees. they need a warm area in their container to bask in the heat, but also a cool spot to sleep. their containers need cleaning about once a month and they need fresh water often

keep him in an aquarium with a lid. put in some logs and large rocks so he can hide. Keep it fairly dark, you may need to put some boards around the aquarium to keep the light out.
Put in a large bright light. Throw some moths in and turn the light on. the light will attract the moths and the gecko will come out to feed naturally.
