I'm gonna say "Baker Street" by Gerry Rafferty. The whole song was a saxophone solo. I like this question so I'll star it.

The saxophone solo in The Gunner's Dream, in Pink Floyd's album The Final Cut. It's a masterpiece.

Well, hate to say it but Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band is the hot ticket for that. Clarence Clemons is pretty much the guy to go to if you are looking for rocking saxophone. He also did some work with Dire Straits. BTW .. he's half the show at a Boss concert ..

The saxophone solo in "Pick Up the Pieces" by the Average White Band.
That song has been duplicated by more musicians of all genres than you can recall or list by memory in this environment. In fact, I just saw Kenny G live in concert on Thursday, September 27 and he did a version of that song with his band.
It was incredible to hear him play that song and see how the crowd responded to it, not to mention that this songs appears in alot of movie soundtracks and has been imitated by several musicians.
