Should I get my hearing checked?

I saw Jesse on Bill OReilly's show a few days ago.

I think Jesse had some good points but I could hardly understand him.

Because Jesse speaks like like he's a televangelist preacher...lots of fire and brimstone in his speech pattern. And Obama is a well-educated man. Hence the difference in pronunciation. Also...from two different parts of the country. Isn't Jesse from the south? He has more of an accent, I think. Even if it's not a deep south accent, it has affected the way he sounds to non-southern ears.

Well I think in America there several worlds and life styles. All of them are real in their own way. Well I think Jesse is more like from the African American world in America and obama is more like from the white American world. This two worlds have a lot in common and differences too. So much for the unified state.

Jesse Jackson is a fine speaker. I honestly regard him as the greatest living orator.

However, your problem understanding him may be because he so rarely actually says anything substantial.

Obama actually received a decent education and can speak English properly.
And Jesse Jackson? You don't have to completely understand him to know that he hates white people.

I don't believe Jesse speaks that bad.
If you look at this lip real close it looks like he maybe had a facial injury.
I know a guy that busted his lip and lost his teeth when he was a teen. he has a small lisp and always wears a mustache.

Obama enunciates his words distinctly. A very fine speaker.

Jackson is a very inarticulate speaker. But don't call him on it or you will be considered a racist.

Al Sharpton still says..."let me ax you a question"....that is sheer laziness in speech. There is nothing wrong with his ability to say "ask" just his willingness to do so correctly.

Because they are two different people? I don't get the point of your question.

And...

No one can understand Jesse, for the most part.

Jackson definitely has a speech impediment. He's had it all of his life as far as I can tell.

Different times, different speech. Hillary is my first choice next year and Obama second!
