There is no war between the US and Iraq. We are fighting a war IN Iraq. The reasons for this change whenever a question is asked as to why we are at war in Iraq.

An invasion is when 3 or more uniformed servicemen from another country enter your country without permission, so I'm not sure it is technically a war, as it needs to be legally declared, BEFORE invading.
