Any idea why a guy would just out right lie like that in the face of huge pile of overwhelming evidence???

You should see my dad. My mom hates him for this. He mostly walks around, muttering about what he needs to do (it took him four years to even buy the supplies to fix the broken bathtub). Then, he'll look at a mess that my brother made or he made and yell at me or my mom for making it.

Yeah, my dad does this to my mom all the time..
Its basicly because they dont want to clean up their mess and they figure that if they keep saying these things then you will just keep cleaning the mess up..
What my mother did is just left the mess there and then he started complaining that the house looked like a pig pen and she said well clean up you mess and it wont look like this.. Well needless to say he has done it ever sence but you gotta stick to your guns

I would GIVE anything to live with my new boyfriend LOL..just not in that stage yet!
I do like extra help..I think he would be cleaning and I do cooking lol..
I'm a pig..you sound like my ex..nagging about my MESS lol
I had like clothes all over my bed (my side)
and some towels and under wear on floor
piles of laundry all over even living room
I only cleaned when my kid back from her dad's visits..and
when had company
when alone

if I was rich would hire maid..and get dishwasher
I rather cook than clean..

i had a guy do that, i think it's just the first reaction to SOME to just deny it. They probably just dont want to clean up their own messes. My brother use to do that all the damn time.

My hubby dosent do that. If he sees any dirty dish he just washes them right away.

well, providing money and keeping everything under control are hard enough for them, they're not supposed to do such household duties, u can ask them to replace lightbulbs or something else...
don't think too much of such problems, u're hurting urself... that's just the way they are kay?

It's what we do, Deny Deny Deny, make up a Lie. Even when caught, it just, "that's my story and I'm sticking to it". Doesn't matter any way.
