first you want to get rid of the brackets so then -7x + 14. I got 14 because since both 7 and 2 are negative that makes them a positive. ok so then you have -7x +14= 5x -2. Now you want to cross the river but everything is opposite.
so 5x-2
-7x-14
-3x-2.
