I get the sense that Cuba, Iran and Middle East are anti-American.

What about the other countries?

All of them, and I do mean all of them to a varying degree. Whether it be by the government, publicly, or the people.

One of our saving graces, while we are hated around the world, the people seem to understand it is our government that is totally screwed up, not the people. The American people are unusually respected around the world. Why? Because we are friendly and tolerant of others, for the most part. There are some who are the typical Ugly Americans, but they are becoming increasingly rare. I suspect, that most who start seeing the world quickly find a whole new way of looking at things. Most people around the world are also pretty positive. Negativeness that is common with Americans seems to be rare.

I've found, in my travels, it helps to be an American.

Peace

Jim

The Middle East isn't anti-American. Just a few people in a few countries. Even Iran isn't anti-American...just their government is. The people are generally very pro-American. Much of the world is, but there's a growing sense of anti-interventionism. People around the world are tired of having the American government interfere with their lives. A growing number of people here at home are getting tired of it too.

But, if you're looking for the most pro-American places, check out Eastern Europe. They know how much freedom is worth.

Of course, if you're looking to travel to any of these places, you better hurry. The anti-American people in Washington are devaluing our dollar so fast that you can't even afford to visit most places anymore.
