The very best team of college all stars would get clobbered by the very worst NFL team. Experience is one reason and you have to remember that all the guys on an NFL team were just about all All Americans during their college careers which certainly can't be said of college where most don't make it in the NFL. We are also talking about 19-22 year olds as opposed to NFL veterans who know every trick in the trade with an average age of 25-30 yrs old. Seriously I love the passion of college football but you could take LSU and USC and the best players off of both teams and play the Detroit Lions and the Lions would beat them probably about 45-10.

None of them. NFL teams are made up of guys who played college ball and played major rolls with their teams, thats why they are in the NFL. College teams at best have 5 or 6 players that can start on an NFL team. So even the worst NFL team could beat the best college team.

Well, #1 LSU would need to have every player on their team go pro and all their starters be starters in the NFL. Not to mention they would need to have the experience that NFL teams have. It would be an absolute blowout and the college players would get hurt. That is like asking who is a better accountant a guy who has been doing it for 8 years or a guy who is hasn't even gotten his degree yet. As for the references to App. St. that is completely irrelevant in this scenario because App. St. was still college v.s college. Would your kids pee-wee team beat the varsity high school team.... I dont think so.

None playing this year. If you go back to the 1995 season with greatest college team of the last 35 years, the Nebraska Cornhuskers and put them up against the worst NFL team that year the 3-13 Jets you might have a game. Still the Jets would probably win by 7-10 points.

i f u combined the rosters of the top 25 college teams, and made a super college all star team, and put them on the field with the worst nfl team u could find, or even an nfl europe team, they would get plastered.

no college team in history, could ever ever beat an nfl team.

None. NFL teams are made up of only the very best college players. Most college teams have only a few, if any, players who will play in the NFL.

It would never happen.... Even the worst of the NFL teams are made up of the best of the best of college players. There is a huge differance between college and the pros.

I would have said it would never happen, but then App State beat michigan, so who knows. I doubt it, but you never know.

To the guy above me, LSU was only up by a couple at half against TULANE. Do you really think they could beat a team that the best QB in LSU history can't start for?

A team of College Allstars could.
It's happened before.
It depends on whether or not the Pros took the game seriously.
Who will ever know unless they played again.
That will never happen tho.

Nice thought anyway.
