I'm on the Pill, in my second month and I've just had my first period while on it. My periods have always been regular and normal, lasting around 3-5 days every 28 days.. But now its gone really weird, it started out like dark brown/black blood and there was hardly any of it, then it went red and then back to dark brown kinda.. But theres hardly any blood really, just some every now and then. Normally on the second day of my period its quite heavy, but this period was really light. Will it get back to normal once my body is used to the Pill?

Birth control pills usually make your periods lighter. Some people also have shorter ones. The dark stuff is blood it is just old blood.

Alot of times your period will get easier on the pill. Your symptoms sound normal to what I had when I started the pill for the first time. I agree that after about 6 months if it is still really wacky- talk to your Dr. But for now its pretty normal!

Hello again!! I got mine on the 3rd day of my 7day break which was saturday and it was normal, but now its nearly gone and its monday, mine usually last 5-6days so I think we should expect all this!!
