Some States supplement SSI benefits. I don't see the state of Michigan on the list though.

SSI is usually a federal payment.

No. That's federal. Michigan does supplement it.... I think it is like $42 every 3 months. So.... no worries about SSI. My son can hardly wait to get his next check so he can by booze pot and a prostitute.

It shouldn't.
SSI payments are initiated at the federal level, not the state level.
