i will be out from 11pm to 4am, i am will leave the baby with a baby siter, my husband works all the time he is a business man, i am home alone with baby a lot, i want to go out but the same time i feel guilt because i dont want to be called irresponsible or be judge, is legal to do that?

Of coarse it's legal, but if you have that mothering feeling that you should stay home and take care of your baby, then follow that instinct. Go out for lunch with your girlfriends and call a baby-sitter at that time. You do, after all, deserve some time for yourself.

As a married 33 yr old with a 13month old- I can tell you it is legal to go out, but I do think that the hours you are planning to go out are irresponsible. No true friend would keep you out that late, and personally, I am wondering what you do until 4am. Dinner, a movie and maybe a drink after and home by 12 is reasonable. I will tell you that I am never home after 12 with my baby at home. Also- it is impossible to be an effective parent when you are hung over or tired from being out. At this stage of the game, sweetie, you have to stop being selfish (and I don't mean that in a mean way) and make your child your first priority, not your friends. If your husband is gone alot, have girls night at your house, or if they want to stay out late have them over at your house until 11 when they want to go out, because really, that should be when you should go to bed. My husband would not be happy if I stayed out until 4! And I wouldn't be happy if he did either.

Yes it is legel to go out and have a lil fun once in a while. If you do it only once in a while then no problems. And find a baby sitter you can trust. Enjoy life with your family and friends. But not to the point it takes you away from your husband and child. And congratuilations on being a mom.

No, it is not illegal to do leave your baby, with a Babysitter. You just need to make sure, who you leave you baby, with is someone you can trust. Hopefully, it is someone who you know will. Even at that, you want to make sure your baby will be alright with this person while you are out. If, I were you I would check with my Husband, first.
Maybe, he will be willing to stay home one night, or once in a while so that you can go out and enjoy yourself.

Well... that is a good question. Yes, I think you should be able to got out every now and then with your friends. You need to be able to get out some. But the key is to control yourself and don't go out often. Personally, I don't believe that I would be able to take care of my child the next day if I got in at 4:00 am.

As long as the baby sitter is old enough and responsible. Then you can go out with the girls. Be responsible yourself though.
