Crocodylia pets are often dumped into storm sewers. Storm sewers are not usually treated. In Texas they can end up in a lot of places because of the warm waters, we don't pay much attention.....in Los Angeles a Caiman ended up in a drainage lake about a month ago.
An aside: Get the movie "Lake Placid," you'll never go swimming in a lake again.

Fake.
First - going down the drain the young croc would probably end up in a treatement plant and not running loose.
Second - if the croc avoided being "treated" finding enough food to survive would be difficult, unless there happens to be an abundance of rats.
Third - crocodiles are cold blooded, and unless there's sufficient heat coing from rotting waste the animal's body temperature will probably be too low to thrive.

Crocodiles are to big to go down drains, but it's just a movie. Even if it did fit down there would have to be like a chemical that makes it grow.

I'm not sure, but he needs a lot of space to grow. Who knows, though, what they show in movies are sometimes true. (You kind of scared me. I don't know if I want to go next to drains any more.) lol

Could be true! But only if you live somewhere like Darwin - not in New York! it's too cold.... Crocs have amazing immune systems they could easily put up with the sewerage...
