how much does a security guard (armed,unarmed) licence cost in NY (brooklyn, manhattan) how long does it take to finish it? My friend told me about school in which licence cost 180$ 5 days a week. After the test they take you to interview and help in getting a job? In newspaper I found school wherelicence cost 70$ for armed security guard. which one should i choose?

I live in Pennsylvania. At our high school and Middle school, there are a few security guards that are in different parts of the school. We have cameras practically everywhere as well. There are about 2 in each classroom. The cafeteria has 4. Their just all over the place. There was an incident a few years ago at our local high school where someone got into the school who was a former student and had a list of people he wanted to kill. Luckily, he didn't get to kill anyone. He was caught by the police and was taken to a mental hospital for a long time. Now, at the high school they have camera like 2 feet away from one another. It sounds crazy, and it is crazy, that school's have to be protected that much. But atleast I know that my district is trying to keep everybody safe and sound.
