That is not true. Enzymes digest protein - proteins do not remove proteins.

Depending on the surface that has the blood stains.. you can usually use Hyrdogen Peroxide. As it bubbles it removes it. Sometimes you can even watch it disappear.
I think the steak would just add to it.

If you haven't DRIED the clothing in a dryer already, then use COLD WATER and peroxide to get the blood out. Works like a charm everytime. Maybe use an old toothbrush to scrub the peroxide in. Also some baking soda mixed in can help scrub.

Add some hydrogen peroxide. It has the same Ph as body fluids. It works well. Then drop in washer. good luck.
