Hello! The fuel filter should be located under the car in the rear, just above the rear axle slightly to the passenger side. If you haven't done one before, try to do it after the car has been sitting overnight if you can. Do it before you turn the key on, this will give you the least amount of fuel pressure to worry about. It's a good idea to also get the O-rings for the fuel lines (they just push on). When you are done installing the filter, turn the key to the "on" position for 5 seconds or so. Then turn the key to the off position for about 15 seconds. Do this about three times and then the car should start right up. This procedure will allow the fuel pump to fill the fuel lines and come up to full pressure without a lot of cranking the starter. Be sure to check for leaks when you are done, can't be too careful when dealing with fuel!
Hope this helps, good luck with your project!

It's right above the rear axle assembly, close to the exhaust system. It is mounted into a big C-clip type of spring that holds onto it. Depending on what type you have, you will need a 5/8 and a13/16 wrench and possibly a set of needle nose pliers. Make sure the seals are okay before replacing filter as they have to be good. Watch out for pressurized fuel.
