Sam Walton founder of wal-mart opened his first store in 1962, his dream before he died in 1992 was to have a wal-mart store every 20 miles any direction you went. I dont think he missed it by much, some places i have been are a lot closer together than 20 miles. So i would say it wont be long til they conquer the world.

They've run most of the businesses out of the town I live closest to. If I want to shop elsewhere, I have to drive 45 minutes one way--I hate Wal Mart

It'll never happen. The employees will eventually rise up, and force them into union negotiations. Then, they'll be forced to reconsider their rampant expansion, and starting treating their people like people, not trash.

i agree, not long..lol.... they only came to our state, - michigan- a few years ago.... and i notice a difference between locations... some are downright nasty and unfriendly. the one we go to is always clean, and the people are nice..
so if they are all nice and clean, and friendly then its ok..
