A family that loves and nurtures one another together stays together. I firmly believe that parents should always have kind words and show respect to their children, and vice versa. I also believe that a mother and father should convey their love, not only for one another, but their children on a daily basis, by touch, by kindness, mutual respect, and even giving children the dignity of being children. Let them be children, nurture them while they are, be patient in teaching them things. Let them have fun as kids. Let them speak, too. Give them the rights to speak. You don't have to yell, hit, scold, beat or show anger towards anyone. Any family that has an absence of that will definitely grow in a wholesome environment and will stay together by choice.

A family that : Have strong family ties and bind themselves together, stays together. This is one of the customs of Filipinos. Our family ties are so strong that's why you will notice that even one has his own family, they still live in the same house or better not in the same compound where their parents live. This is a strong manifestation how strong a family is when cemented with too much love and care.
