Wow! What a good question.. hmm.. well, I can say I didn't marry the person of my dreams.. and we are now divorced, but I still feel that God brought us together for a reason - there were many things that happened during the course of our marriage that were meant to happen and I don't think they would have been the same under any other circumstance.. And then, it was time for it to be over.. and now, there are other plans for me!

Well, I would say if this really is the person of your dreams, you shouldn't have to WORK to stay together. You both should want to stay together. There is more to this story. Did you purposely get pregnant to get the man of your dreams or what?

God had nothing to do with my husband and I getting together, actually if God was pouring the beers at the pub then ok lol.

I don't believe there is a "person of your dreams", my dreams keep changing every night.

Not too long ago I thought I had married the man of my dreams. Although I still feel very strongly for him and know he's a wonderful man who loves me and cares for me, he showed me he's not the special man I thought he was: loyal, faithful, considerate, compassionate; I thought I was the world to him and that he had no eyes for anyone else, but he made me realize he's just another man, with the same weaknesses, desires, and flaws as any other man. I guess this forced me to grow up and stop believing in all the BS we tend to think when we fall in love and are completely blind to reality. I don't think God wants us to suffer; I think He wants us to be happy, so I don't blame him for bringing my husband and me together. I blame myself and my husband for all the mistakes we've made to hurt our relationship.

I "did" marry the man of my dreams, the problem with that is that he isn't the man that I love.

God had nothing to do with it..if he did I would be with the man
the loves me as much as I love him. And not with some superficial prick who thinks the he is god gift to women and the world revolves around him. GOD, did not put me on this earth to serve my "now" husband, I am here to serve God.!

he is not the man of your dreams
you merely do what men do to women
you put him up on a pedestal
and think nothing is wrong with him
the fact is both of you are replaceable
and one day he or you may change your minds
and stray and look for something else
you sound naive and with rose colored glasses on
be careful
as those who think they have found the one
are usually those with low self esteem and thus will put other before themselves
and usually later get divorced
to the rate of 50%
