do you believe in ouija boards?

Question

okay. so this weekend was my first time playine with an ouija board.
it was really scaryyy.
part of me wants to believe in it, but another part of me says it is not true at all.
it was saying things like all my friends names and that it knows us.
we talked to a couple of "spirits".
they told us how they died.
and other stuff.
we asked one if it was sexy. and it said h*** yes!! lol
what do you think about ouija boards?
and do you think you are actually talking to real spirits?

how could something be evil if they sell it at toys r us. that is where my friend bought hers,
they are supposed to be just for fun. and now everyone is saying things like i am christian. so i wont use it.

Ouija boards are only as real as your mind allows them to be. If you felt afraid, isn't that a good enough reason not to use it anymore?

If a person's mind is open to suggestion anything is possible. Sometimes this can be very unhealthy physically and mentally.

Read all the information provided inside and outside on the game box. There is probably some kind of disclaimer so anyone involved in the manufacturing of the board can't be sued for damages.

If you are looking for mystery and scary thrills, go to your library and look up "True Ghost Stories" or "Unsolved Mysteries" type of books. Take turns reading to each other. It can be alot of suspenseful fun and entertainment with a good reader!

And it is not exactly wise to open doors that you can't close, nor control what might come through " then why even use a board if you have the potential to do that ? the only thing that comes through with a ouija board is subconscious stuff but that can be damn scary at times though the board IS only a board .. a game ... useless

A store bought board is 99% of the time just your subconcious guiding the answers. In the rare event that something else is trying to communicate with you you will know it. There are small signs and big ones to look for.
Things moving in the room is a big one. It also indicates a strong spirit or possibly a demonic presence (if you believe in that wich i neither confirm nor deny)
Strange smells of either pleasant or repulsive scents are common as well.
The feeling of being drained and tired is also common. Spirits are thought to draw upon our own energies to manifest and in doing so drain us and make us feel sleepy.
Strange sounds are a sign. These can be something like whispering or scratching, or footsteps.
Darkening of the room or extending of shadows as well. I have no idea why.
Feeling cold.
Feeling a breeze.
Movement of hair or clothing.

There are others but these are the most common. I have studied this (since i study ghosts) and these are the most mommon and widely cited examples.

I have seen many results from Ouija board one is to become obsessed or possessed!

People who are untrained and unsophisticated in the field of the paranormal and supernatural should never play with devices such as the Ouija board!

If you want to communicate with Spirits work on your Psychic senses and do it the right way it may take longer however it is more rewarding : ) The easy way is not always the right way, you have to work for your rewards with knowledge

That is a real experience for I had a similar incident happen to me almost 30 years ago. A friend of mine pulled it out and wanted me to try it. Even though I am a Christian I said "Yes". But I stopped it right away when the pointer moved by itself!!!!!!!!!! It didn't scare me but I just thought to myself, "I should not do it" The instant it stopped my friend told me "Oh you chickened out". I never did that again.

That is a supernatural occurrence and you are dealing with "familiar spirits" that are liars when they tell people they are the dead people you asked about. Demons are not nor have they ever been human beings. They are spirits to be sure but thank God they are not spirits of the departed.

I haven't used a ouija board in many years...probably since 1975.
At the time, it was nowhere as exciting and informative as what you are describing.
They are either spirits, or your own willfull subconcious minds.
Catholics warn not to use ouija boards..they say it opens the door to the occult and to demons, posing as friendly spirits to get your attention.

They usually tell you things about yourself that you already know but have forgotten. It's as if your memory was a giant file cabinet with some of the compartments closed, representing things that you have forgotten. It opens up those compartments and releases information that you had forgotten. It will reveal the first phone number that your family had when you were a child. When it comes predicting the future, it sucks.

haha, awesome. those spirits seem really friendly compared to the ones that move stuff around. but it is real because there's no way it could have said that stuff unless the board was electronic somehow, and it still would have been hard for it to work. (i dont know how they work btw)
